Dr. Ted Baehr Gives Keynote Speech on Human Dignity and Faith

Dr. Ted Baehr, chairman of the Christian Film & Television Commission®, gave the keynote speech Friday night at the World Congress of the International Christian Studies Association in Pasadena, Calif.

Dr. Baehr spoke Media Manipulation and Human Dignity, about the influence of the mass media of entertainment on human dignity, including its effects on religious belief and practice, at the academic conference.

Other speeches and papers spoke on genetic engineering and human dignity, the effects of new science and new technology, and reason and divine providence.

“After my lecture,” Dr. Baehr said, “I was asked to speak at several universities and at the Academy of Science.”
