LOVE IS BLIND stars Vic St. John and Christine Hamilton say faith is the “foundation” of their relationship.
“This is the least likely thing that I would ever do, and same for him,” Hamilton said of the couple’s reality-TV experience while appearing on Fox News. “But it just felt like God breathed the whole time, you know? It just felt right. I literally got down on my knees and prayed before I even had my interview for [LOVE IS BLIND]. I was like, ‘If this is meant to be, let it be.’”
She added, “[God] was very present from the jump.”
St. John agreed, saying, “[Faith] guided me in every single way…I wanted to be aligned with God’s vision for whatever was going to happen…Faith is our foundation.”

In an interview with PEOPLE, the pair shared more about their strong shared faith.
“I know faith can be very divisive, but I mean it in the way in which it’s intended to be understood — our faith tells us to be patient. It tells us to be kind. It tells us to be forgiving. It tells us to be graceful. And that’s our baseboard, we come back to it,” St. John explained.
Hamilton shared, “Yeah, that’s exactly it. That’s something that we talked about immediately. Even in the pods, like day one, I was trying to get a feed off of other people’s background and their beliefs and their faith system too. And Vic was the first one that I didn’t bring it up, he brought it up first, and my ears perked up. That quite literally was the foundation of our relationship.”
The couple met on Season 10 of the popular Netflix dating show and wed shortly after.
“I feel blessed that I found Christine in this experience. I’m in awe and I’m excited and I’m in love,” St. John, a professor, said in a LOVE IS BLIND episode.
Hamilton added, “When two people love each other, you can’t stop it. I know him and I know his heart. And I really fully believe that he sees that in me too. And it’s the best feeling you’ve ever felt in your life times a million.”
“We knew how good we had it during the pods, so other people getting to see that too and getting to see our connection, it’s just been really beautiful,” she said of their LOVE IS BLIND episodes. “We’re just feeling really blessed and just gratitude is the biggest thing that comes to mind. Grateful for every single step of the way.”
St. John and Hamilton’s love story delighted viewers around the world who related to the couple’s commitment to their faith and shared values.
