Dude Perfect Teams Up With Fanatics Live App For Live Shows

By Movieguide® Contributor

YouTubers Dude Perfect are partnering with Fanatics Live for a series of live shows through the Fanatics Live app.

“The show’s initial format will include live auctions, live sports card breaks and mystery box reveals,” Sports Business Journal reported. “But they intend to get more creative with concepts — such as potentially having viewers ‘pick their Dude’ as opposed to picking a team during a live break.”

Each episode will be 60 to 90 minutes and will be available to watch through the Fanatics Live app. There is no set schedule for the show, with new episodes coming out on a pop-up basis.

This is a new move for Fanatics Live, which typically works with athletes.

“Fanatics Live provides once-in-a-lifetime experiences by virtually connecting fans to their favorite athletes from the comfort of their home,” the website reads

The platform has started to branch out, offering a SLAM Magazine show and content from the NFT company VeeFriends.

It’s unsurprising Fanatics Live decided to team up with Dude Perfect; the YouTube group boasts over 60 million subscribers and close to 17 billion views on YouTube.

The live shows will be recorded at the Dude Perfect headquarters in Frisco, Texas.

“The venue’s boldest planned feature is the 330-foot tower, which projects from the site as a vertical expression of the brand known for its improbable trick shots,” WFAA wrote of the location’s planned features. “The space will give fans the chance to attempt an improbable trick shot of their own.”

The source continued, “Inside the venue, the design concept includes three stories of attractions, including a Dude Perfect Museum that will chronicle the group’s origin story. Restaurants, merchandise, water features and outdoor attractions will round out the visitor experience on the multi-acre site.”

Movieguide® previously reported on Dude Perfect’s location:

Dude Perfect, a group of sports fans made famous by their viral basketball trick shots, recently announced plans for a family-friendly entertainment destination at their new headquarters.

The YouTube creators—five longtime friends—boast 58 million subscribers.

Dude Perfect’s new building will include a museum, mini golf, a merch store, restaurants, and 2 acres of outdoor space for activities, Variety reported.

The HQ will help the group “manifest their digital brand into a physical destination designed to excite and engage visitors and fans,” the company said in a statement.

“The dynamic 330-foot canted tower projects from the site as a vertical expression of the brand known for their impossible shots,” San Antonio architecture firm Overland Partners described the project. “Inside, visitors will get to try their hand at the impossible shot as they ascend through a series of floors leading up to the top of the tower, surrounded by city views. Encapsulated by the sweeping fabric structure, the iconic tower will be a focal beacon of Dude Perfect.”
