Popular kids’ show character Peppa Pig is getting a new sibling this summer, and Mummy Pig just sat down for an exclusive interview sharing all the details!
“Well, I suppose I can tell you that Peppa and George will soon have a new baby…sister!” she said in a (fictional) interview with Grazia magazine. “We’re all incredibly excited to meet her when she arrives in summer.”
Mummy Pig shared that the family hasn’t decided on a name yet, but she is feeling “thrilled, nauseous, a little nervous about having three little ones running around…you name it, I’m feeling it.”
“But most of all I’m just excited to meet her, and grateful for all the ways that Daddy Pig, Peppa and George have been looking after me!” she added.
Mummy Pig also gave out some tips to other expecting moms — “Sleep when the baby sleeps, you can never pack enough nappies and trust your instincts.”
“But really, it all comes down to teamwork,” she continued. “Whatever that looks like for you — a co-parent, family and friends, or local groups for new parents — having people to talk to and to go through it all with you is SO valuable. Make sure you’re looking after yourself, as well as your little ones. And enjoy every moment — they’ll be bigger and running circles around you before you know it.”
For fans of PEPPA PIG who can’t wait to meet the newest addition to the family, don’t worry — the baby will make her debut May 30 in the PEPPA MEETS THE BABY CINEMA EXPERIENCE.
“For years, Peppa Pig has been at the forefront of creating engaging, immersive experiences for preschoolers,” Esra Cafer, Hasbro’s senior vice president of franchise strategy and management, preschool and fashion, told Parents. “The PEPPA MEETS THE BABY CINEMA EXPERIENCE builds on this legacy and invites families to be part of their biggest adventure yet — welcoming a new baby.”
An Instagram post from the official PEPPA PIG account about the event reads, “We’re expecting PIG changes! Join Peppa Pig and her family as they get ready for their biggest adventure yet: welcoming a new baby!”
“With 10 oinktastic new episodes, six brand new songs and music videos, little ones can dance and sing along with Peppa and her family and friends starting May 30th in select cinemas,” the post continued. “You don’t want to miss this!”

It looks like PEPPA PIG fans are just as excited as Peppa and her family to meet the new baby, and can’t wait for May 30!
