BLIPPI fans have reason to celebrate! Blippi’s Curiosity Club, an exciting new kids’ app with child safety at its forefront, just released on Nov. 17.
Moonbug Entertainment launched the app as a safe, ad-free digital space for preschoolers to play and learn.
It’s designed to foster curiosity and help littles explore preschool skills. The creators built a curriculum first, before writing any code, to ensure the app supports socio-emotional learning, problem-solving and early literacy.
“This app isn’t just about collecting digital presents. Underneath the game-playing is a mission to foster socio-emotional skills, curiosity, and early writing skills, like letter tracing,” Parents reported.
“Even before we started coding the app, we wrote a curriculum for kids,” explained Michelle Lazarow, the app’s learning lead. “My background is in early childhood special education, so I knew the app we built had to foster curiosity, exploration, and both soft and hard preschool skills.”

Moonbug Entertainment shared more details on Instagram.
“It’s LIVE! Blippi’s Curiosity Club app is officially available today on the App Store! This brand-new app brings the curiosity and joy of Blippi into an interactive world where kids can have fun and learn through play,” the company wrote.
They explain that the app is “Built for ages 3-6, Blippi’s Curiosity Club is packed with skill-building games that spark early learning, daily experiments and creative challenges, in-app calls and ad-free videos guided by Blippi himself [and] a safe, colorful, and curiosity-boosting digital environment parents can trust. A huge congratulations to the teams who brought this amazing experience to life!”
Lazarow is also a parent, so the app is also kid approved.
“Yes, we have a team of incredible experts, but we also put everything in front of kids during development. The app needed to be intuitive and interactive, or it wasn’t going to work,” she said, adding, “As a parent, I have been loving watching my kids playing games — it’s magical. They take what they’re learning and translate it into knowledge in real time.”
Parents want to prioritize their children’s safety online, and Blippi’s Curiosity Club takes that into consideration. It doesn’t lead kids to anything on the internet outside of the app, and carefully chosen videos on the app are all they can access.
“We wanted a place where kids can watch a curated selection of Blippi videos without ads and completely offline. It’s a safe, focused Blippi place,” Lazarow said.
Now more than ever, parents need of safe options they can rely on when it comes to their kids playing games online.
Recently, other gaming platforms including Discord have undergone scrutiny due to child predators and the addictive nature of such apps.
“It is easier to lure a child on Discord than in a public park, given that the predator can present himself in a non-threatening way — meaning, a 40-year-old man can present as a 15-year-old girl,” said Cyber Safety Consulting’s Liz Repking.
The new Blippi app eliminates outside internet contact completely, an exciting improvement that allows for safe, educational entertainment.
