FIXER TO FABULOUS star Jenny Marrs shared some encouragement after reflecting on scripture.

“I recently happened upon a tucked-away truth in the Psalms that jumped off the page: ‘The Lord will work out his plans for my life…’ (Psalm 138:8a NLT)” Marrs wrote alongside a photo of her husband holding a sweet, smiling baby lamb.

“In the margin, I had scribbled notes from a season of uncertainty,” Marrs said. “As I reread my questions and the date jotted beside them, I could only thank God for the profound truth in these ten words. At the time, I didn’t know what was ahead.”

Amidst the huge changes that were happening in her life, she chose to dwell on that verse and remember that God has a plan.

“And, it turns out. The promise holds true. His plans are always better,” she said.

“He is always working. He is faithful,” she wrote. “If you’re in a season of writing out endless questions in the margin, keep trusting.”

She shared encouragement with her posts viewers, emphasizing that God’s plans are better and “beyond” what we can imagine.

“David says earlier in the same Psalm, his promises are backed by the honor of his name,” she said. “Our good. His glory. 🤍”

Trust is a key theme in Marrs’ new book. On June 2, she announced that her book, Trust God, Love People, is finally finished. She wrote it over three years.

“Each time I sat down to write, I’d pray about which stories to share and then I’d wonder how in the world I’d ever take all of these stories and find the common thread connecting them,” Marrs said of the book. “Until, my editor read the first draft of the manuscript. She said simply: This book is about learning to trust God and then, in turn, loving the people He puts in my path as a result of that deep, abiding trust.”

Marrs added that she poured her heart out onto the pages and is very proud her finished work.

Part of the book’s description reads, “In Trust God, Love People, Jenny opens wide the doors to her life and her family’s home to share stories of how little steps of faith have added up to an unexpected and abundant life. We ride shotgun next to her as she moves to Bentonville, Arkansas, where she knows almost no one, and watch her slowly put down roots.”

Trust God, Love People comes out Oct. 7 and is currently available for pre-order.
