HGTV’s Jenny Marrs Shares Her Favorite Faith-Filled Family Christmas Traditions
By Movieguide® Staff
Jenny Marrs, host of HGTV’s FROM FIXER TO FABULOUS, has started posting her Christmas snapshots on Instagram, sharing some of her favorite faith-filled traditions in the process.
In one post, she quoted Ann Voskamp’s “Unwrapping Christmas the Greatest Gift.”
“My favorite advent tradition is our Jesse tree. We’ve done this for years and it’s surreal to have the kiddos reading to me now. I love hearing them speak aloud big Truths of God’s great love,” Marrs wrote with a heart emoji.

Marrs also posted a picture of her youngest son, Luke, gazing up at the orange slices above a nativity.

Marrs recently shared the heart behind an outdoor worship service she attended.
“I prayed for all people to feel welcome here, regardless of their background or beliefs. While I knew I needed to hold this place with open palms, open to however God wanted to use it, I never would have imagined the plans He had in store. I certainly never had an Advent worship night during a global pandemic on my radar. Six years ago, I couldn’t imagine standing outside, bundled up against the wintry air, worshiping alongside (six feet apart) my fellow weary and worn out sojourners on life’s journey,” Marrs wrote.
“As we walk toward the end of 2020, I know we are all feeling the weight of all this year has held. Tonight, as we sang of God’s faithfulness, I lifted my voice in praise and in prayer for the Hope still to come: ‘all my life you have been faithful. And all my life you have been so, so good. With every breath that I am able. Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God,'” she said.
Amen.
