Jonathan Walters made his return to TV when Ben and Erin Napier wanted to collaborate with Walters to bring downtown Seabring back to life.
Walters initially appeared in HOME TOWN as a project manager before his move back to Florida. Despite the distance, he remained close with his TV family.
“They’re still good friends,” he said of his relationship with the Napiers. “They’re about as genuine as they can be. How they come across on the TV screen is how they are in real life.

In 2019, Walters moved back to his hometown of Fort Myers, Florida and soon after took over the Royal Corinthian Homes construction company.
Walters thought his move back home would be the end of his TV career, but the producers had other plans. Walters recevied a call that they were filming HOME TOWN TAKEOVER in Seabring.
“It was an opportunity in Florida that I couldn’t turn down,” Walters told the local news.
As for the location, Walters and the Napiers know it’s a perfect location.
“Sebring has a lake, a racetrack and a park in the center of town,” Ben said in a press release. “All the puzzle pieces are there, but somehow they’re still struggling.”
“In order to turn this place around, we’re helping the town’s biggest changemakers, so they can keep transforming people’s lives,” Erin added. “We’ll use everything we’ve learned from years of community revitalization efforts to keep this town’s heart beating.”
