Katy Nichole’s New Single Is Already Viral with 200 Million Views

Christian artist Katy Nichole’s new single, “When I Fall,” just came out Friday, and it’s already viral.

“After notching three back-to-back No. 1 hits at radio with singles from her record-breaking, Centricity Music debut album, Jesus Changed My Life, ‘When I Fall’ is the first single revealed from her upcoming sophomore album (title and release date TBA),” a press release revealed. “The new song has already become a soundtrack for millions on TikTok and Instagram.”

“In her powerful new single, ‘When I Fall,’ K-LOVE Fan Award winner Katy Nichole explores the depths of faith and the unwavering love of our Heavenly Father,” K-LOVE wrote. “Even in the hardest times we can find comfort in knowing that He’s always there to lift us up.”

Nichole has shared clips of herself singing the song’s chorus since earlier this year. The clips received over 200 million views and over 100,000 shares. The lyrics are about how she called out to God when she felt broken and alone.

“‘When I Fall’ was a song I wrote out of complete desperation. I just wept at my piano, and I cried out feeling so mentally, spiritually and physically drained,” Nichole said. “The words I sang were what I was praying in that moment.”

“So tired of trying to just be OK, I decided to be honest with myself and with God, and God met me exactly where I was. I felt so much peace bringing all that I am to the feet of Jesus,” she said. “Whether it be joy or sadness or just my frustration, I knew I could talk to Jesus about anything, and he would love me through it.”

She referenced Psalm 27:7-8; it reminds her to continuously pray to God.

“Because the Lord is listening and in His presence is where I will find everything that I need,” she said.

The song’s chorus is:

“At just 24 years old, Katy Nichole has already garnered accolades including a K-LOVE Fan Award, a Billboard Chartbreaker title, and recognition as the Gospel Music Association’s 2023 New Artist of the Year,” REACH FM reported.

This December, Nichole will embark on a ten-date Christmas tour with Micah Tyler.
