Roma Downey Reminds Fans Christ’s ‘Love for You is Never Ending’

Roma Downey shared a video reminder of Christ’s promises and why we can find peace in Him.
“My love for you is never ending. You can never outrun it, and it never runs out. Shame will try to keep you from seeking me, but remember that your sins are forgiven; as far as the East is from the West, I have removed your transgressions. Therefore, you are free in me,” Downey said in a video, speaking as if God was talking to his children.
“Take hold of my hand, and let me lead you beside still waters. Let me calm your racing mind and ease your troubled heart,” she continued. “In my presence, there is peace. In my presence, there is joy. In my presence, there is love. Fear will try to trick you into thinking I don’t have a plan, but I have a plan for your life, and it is beautiful.”
“Hold onto my promises and trust the process,” she added. “My love is not fickle. It is not determined based on your works. I give love freely to my children. Receive my love today and never forget that I’m always with you. I love you. I love you deeply. I love you endlessly. I love you now and forevermore. I love you.”
This encouraging video is a part of Downey’s project, Lightworkers, to spread the Gospel and keep people centered on the Lord. She often posts similar videos reminding viewers of God’s promises to his people and reasons they can turn to him no matter what life throws at them.
Lightworkers also shares clips from Downey’s ongoing series, THE BAXTERS, which is based on the bestselling series by Karen Kingsbury. The uplifting story follows the Baxter family as they navigate the highs and lows of life, both with and without God.

“I really wanted to be involved because…there’s nothing like it out there right now, and people really are so hungry for it, and they want to find hope in something because there’s so much negative out there,” Cassidy began. “You know, you’re inundated with it, I feel like, from all angles the second you turn your TV on, whether it be the news or even all the scripted series that are out there. People want to feel hope, and they want to feel connected to something, and I think more people out there have faith than we than we actually think.”
THE BAXTERS is “An ensemble family drama based on the bestselling novels from Karen Kingsbury, that follows Elizabeth and John Baxter, and their adult children, as they navigate life’s highs and lows, both with and without God.”
