Sadie Robertson Huff gave fans an update following the recent serious winter storms that have swept the East Coast.

“A series of pictures of the high highs in the midst of a week with some low lows,” she captioned a slideshow of photos showing her family playing in the snow.

Huff continued, “It legitimately looks like a tornado came through our neighborhood. Our workspace is extremely damaged, and it’s day 5 without power for most of our city. This is truly a wild one! Yet, some memories and smiles I will hold in my heart forever!”

“PRAYING the power comes back soon for everyone! Very thankful for all of the hard workers that are working so tirelessly and bravely to get it back going,” she concluded.

Huff previously shared a video of herself preparing for the storm by cooking, captioning it, “The storm prep was fun…the storm was not fun. For those wondering the gumbo was 10/10.”

“Unfortunately, the storm was as bad as they said it would be! Say a prayer for our little town!” she added. “The power is out, and it’s not looking like it will be on anytime soon. Praying for all those affected!”

While work is on hold at the moment for Huff, the social media influencer and public speaker recently shared plans for an episode of her “WHOA That’s Good” podcast centered on “first time mom” questions.

“YES I will get this scheduled ASAP,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “In the meantime, I wanted to say this to all the moms out there. You are doing better than you think. You are doing an amazing job, and YOU are the person for the job.”

Huff continued, “Drop the guilt, drop the comparison, drop the questions, and rest in the truth that God made you for the job. Trust the Holy Spirit, and your natural God given instincts as a mother. Don’t overthink it or overcomplicate it with 1 million opinions online or 1 million other ways everyone else is doing it. Be led by peace, be led by love, be led by God.”

“You are doing GREAT, because you care so much! You love that child more than anyone in the world, except God, He loves them more than you even could imagine. So trust His lead,” the DUCK DYNASTY star finished. “Go mama go! I’m cheering you on! Virtual high fives and hugs!”

While winter storms have made things difficult, it looks like Huff is choosing to look on the bright side of things!
