Should Your Preschoolers Play BLIPPI Video Games?

The hit Moonbug Entertainment show BLIPPI struck a new deal with Lingokids to create video games based on the franchise for young fans.
“The BLIPPI franchise — which includes multiple shows across platforms — follows the titular character as he serves as preschool-aged kid’s ‘best friend’ and ‘inspire them to learn through play with the fun, engaging content and experiences he creates,’ including backyard science, the rainforest, a race track and even outer space,” Variety reported.

Lingokids’ partnership with BLIPPI to make games marks the company’s first time bringing an outside IP into its Lingokids app.
“The new content will incorporate Lingokids’ proven Playlearning™ educational methodology with the magic of Blippi,” Lingokids said. “These interactive experiences will focus on developing essential skills, including vocabulary, logic, creativity, and emotional intelligence for children ages 2-8.”
The different games that children can play include:
- Blippi’s Sort that Bridge
Kids will embark on an engineering puzzle where they’ll become master bridge builders! In this colorful puzzle game, children will learn creative problem-solving skills to construct a bridge for Blippi to reach D.BO on the other side. By matching different colors they’ll enrich their vocabulary and practice fine motor skills. - Blippi’s Friendship Puzzle
Little learners boost problem-solving and finesse their fine motor skills with this fun puzzle game. It’s a playful way for little learners to build coordination, improve concentration and learn new vocabulary, all while revealing Blippi’s best friend—Meekah! - Blippi’s Memory Cards
In this fun, brain-boosting challenge, kids will flip and match cards to uncover Blippi’s friends and items from Blippi’s closet—improving concentration and memory skills along the way. With every match, they’ll build confidence and pick up new clothing vocabulary!
