Country artist Tyler Hubbard credits his wife for his deepening faith, opening up about his family’s spiritual journey on Instagram.

“My wife and I have been on a journey lately, I would say, where she’s just passionately pursuing her faith and pursuing Jesus, and it’s been really cool to sort of watch her journey,” he began.

Hubbard wanted to support his wife, which impacted his interest in faith.

“Alongside her, just be there with her and support her, which has helped me grow in my faith. [I’ve] even done the practical things, like I made a goal this year. I wanted to read the whole Bible,” he said.

He explained that he is working this new goal after a lifetime of being intimidated by the Bible.

“I’ve never read the whole Bible,” he confessed, “and like I said, I grew up in church, and I’m not much of a reader at all. To be honest, so it’s always intimidated me a lot, but at the end of the year last year, it showed up in my closet, the one-year Bible, and I thought, ‘I’m gonna try this for a couple days even before the year starts just to see. I’m gonna test the water.'”

Hubbard really enjoyed reading the Bible, which made keeping up with the goal easier than he thought.

“I did it, and I really liked it, and so yeah, January 1, I just decided alright this year I’m gonna read through the whole Bible.”

This Thanksgiving, Hubbard shared a sweet family photo of his wife and three children in a post to Instagram.

“I have so much to be thankful for, but here’s what I could fit in one post,” he said.

Hubbard, formerly a part of the group Florida-Georgia Line before they split, now finds success as a solo artist.

Billboard reported, “Hubbard has penned 19 No. 1 singles and is the only country artist to achieve four consecutive chart-topping hits both as part of a duo and as a solo act, bringing his career total to 23 No. 1 songs. His sophomore solo album, Strong (2024), delivered two major hits—’Back Then Right Now’ and ‘Park’—both topping country radio.”

Just last month, he was also featured on Nate Smith’s single “After Midnight,” which he co-wrote.

Like Hubbard, diving into your faith by reading the Bible could change yours and your family’s spiritual trajectory. Many one-year Bible reading plans are available to help you get started.
