THE CHOSEN Cast React to Season 4 Trailer: ‘Wow!’

Several actors from THE CHOSEN shared their reactions to their first glimpse of the Season 4 trailer, showing eagerness and enthusiasm all around.
As several of their characters appeared in the trailer, the actors let out increased exclamations of excitement.
“It looks so good!” Noah James (Andrew) said. Several others were also impressed with how the scenes turned out.
Movieguide® recently reported on the trailer:
“Clashing kingdoms. Rival rulers. The enemies of Jesus close in while His followers struggle to keep up, leaving Him to carry the burden alone. Threatened by the reality of Jesus’ growing influence, religious leaders do the unthinkable—ally with their Roman oppressors. As the seeds of betrayal are planted and opposition to Jesus’ message turns violent, He’s left with no alternative but demand his followers RISE UP,” a synopsis of Season 4 reads.
The trailer shows Jesus and his followers confronting new challenges as they move towards his coming crucifixion.
One clip showed several actors happily running into a body of water.
“That swamp smelled so bad,” confessed Austin Reed Alleman (Nathanael). Others nodded in agreement. “I took two showers after that,” he continued.
When they saw a scene of Jesus looking morose, Jordan Walker Ross (Little James) joked, “Is that the scene where someone insulted him with cinnamon cakes?” Everyone chuckled at that.
After the trailer ended, many of the actors simply said, “Wow!”
Per Screen Rant, Season 4 started filming in March 2023. Like many other American series, the SAG-AFTRA strike delayed production. However, SAG-AFTRA issued THE CHOSEN an interim agreement to continue filming.
The fourth season will arrive on Feb. 1, 2024.
