Movieguide® Founder and Publisher Dr. Ted Baehr’s word holds significant weight in the entertainment industry and beyond. As such, one author recently approached Dr. Baehr to tell him how a book endorsement more than 30 years ago ago still appeals to the author’s readers.

As you know, my favorite medium for communicating God’s truth is fiction. Truth wrapped in fiction has the power to engage the reader’s mind, heart and spirit. And so it has the power to transform.
In addition, people can typically remember and even retell stories much more easily than they can essays on facts and figures. Witness fables and even Jesus’ parables.
So fiction, both on the screen and in a novel, can be life changing.
