Top Billboard Singer: Jesus Produces Miracles

Singer Katy Nichole recently shared on Candace Cameron Bure’s podcast that God ministers to listeners through her song, “In Jesus’ Name (God of Possible).”

“I know that this song has something that is completely different. It carries something that is not from me,” Nichole says. “My human hands have absolutely no healing power. I do not have the ability to produce miracles, but Jesus does.

“The song came out of a really hard season of my life,” Nichole previously told Movieguide®. “That the song was being written over the last two to three years, but I didn’t know that until a lot later on. I have a prayer journal, and that’s how I talk to God is through this prayer journal. I started it in 2020, and some of the worst of my anxiety happened from the year 2020, and I really needed an outlet, I needed somewhere to jot down the feelings I was feeling, and also a place to give all of those feelings to God. That’s what my prayer journal was for me.”

“I’m so grateful that I get to create music that has an encouraging, uplifting message so that someone can be given hope throughout their day. This is my heart. This is the expression of my relationship with God,” says Nichole.

With “I pray for your healing, that circumstances will change/I pray that the fear inside would flee in Jesus’ name” as its chorus, the song unleashes a powerful prayer over its listeners. Nichole prayed over the song before it debuted on TikTok. She believes that the positive reactions from the video are an indication that people really need the prayer and healing.

“God reach one or one hundred, whoever needs to hear this, I know you’ll find them,” Nichole prayed over the video.

“And not only did He find them but He brought this impact to them,” Nichole tells Bure. “The one thing about this video is that there wasn’t as single hate comment…at the time there were over 1200 comments on the video.”

“When I posted this little clip of a song, I had literally no intentions for it,” Nichole told Movieguide®. “It was just me posting some content for the week, as I was really consistent with the content I was posting on TikTok. That was part of my life for the last couple years. I had a couple songs that I’d written like a week before I posted these videos. When I posted this little clip of the song, I actually created the video, because I was like, ‘You know what, maybe somebody does need to hear these words. So if it’s just one person, God, that’s okay. That’s the only person that You ever need to reach. That’s totally fine with me. I just want you to know, God, that I want Your will to be done in all of this.’

Nichole will join Bure in future podcast episodes, where the two will discuss the inspiration for Nichole’s music on her album, Jesus changed my life.
