Christian artist Lauren Daigle says Gen Z is “hungry” for revival.
“The future is the next generation when it comes to revival,” she told The Christian Post. “I can’t even tell you how much I’m seeing in the next generation, especially on college campuses. It’s amazing to watch. It feels like we’re on the cusp of revival.”
Daigle continued, “I feel like the next generation is a beacon of light for the world we’re living in right now. I truly believe that with every fiber of my being. They’re hungry, and it’s palpable. You can see that in multiple expressions, not just here, but around the world.”
The singer-songwriter said she encounters this hunger while on tour, sharing that she tells concertgoers “about the nature and character of God…His Word remains true and faithful. If you don’t know Him, He’s an amazing One to know.”
Daigle also counseled anyone feeling “downtrodden, depressed or overwhelmed” to find their “hope in Jesus.”

“The other thing I would say is, get quiet with Jesus,” she added. “Find out His incredible purpose for your life. There’s always something that He’s woven uniquely that only you can fill. He has a purpose for you on this planet. Finding that starts with being alone with God. Get in the Word and ask Him to show you about yourself and what He has for you.”
Daigle concluded, “I am encouraged for the next generation. Hang on to hope. Hang on to Jesus. If you don’t know Him, this is the perfect time to know Him. He’s so kind, loving, faithful and passionate.”
The Grammy-winner touched on the same topic in a 2025 conversation with Crosswalk.
“I think it’s very evident that revival is sweeping through these college campuses,” she told the outlet. “People want the truth. They want the real truth. They don’t want the ‘my truth.’ They want the Jesus truth. People are hungry to know what is real. And there’s an aching world out there, and we get to bring them the hope of Jesus. I think we’re going to see some amazing times to come.”
Daigle is now looking ahead to the new year, sharing with fans on Instagram that she is entering 2026 with “vision” in mind.
“Without vision, we perish,” she wrote. “I believe dreaming about what’s in store for 2026 became all the more clear toward the end of 2025. There is something glorious about anticipation, about waiting with a knowing, about standing on the edge of a harvest getting your tools ready to reap.”
Daigle added, “I look back on the highlights of 2025 with utter zeal knowing these highlights mustered a flame within me to create and facilitate intention for 2026.”
Like many others around the world, Daigle is looking to Gen Z for the next wave of revival.
