More Detail:
Tessa Finlay is entirely content with keeping things the same in her town of Oak Creek. As a devoted historian, she does just that. Her beliefs are challenged when real estate developer Noah comes to town to shake everything up. Noah has plans to tear down the old Post Office to make room for a modern office complex. Before Noah can even pitch to the town board, Tessa hits him with her request to protect the old, abandoned building by having it deemed a historic site.
The chemistry between them is undeniable, but so is their difference of opinion. Tessa pulls out all the stops to make Noah leave. She even uses her influence to make it impossible for him to get a good cup of coffee in town. Even so, Noah isn’t going anywhere; he’s invested everything to bring his project to fruition. To both of their chagrin, the town votes for the unlikely pair to work together to find a viable solution. Stuck together, Noah and Tessa decide to play Santa.
They find an old Christmas Letter mailbox at the Post Office and decide to answer Christmas letters from over thirty years ago. In a seemingly impossible situation, the duo finds that through the old-fashioned notion of the Christmas spirit, they may have more in common than they thought.
