What You Need To Know:
There’s a laudable anti-drug message in this movie, but the story’s occult worldview is reprehensible. The demonic Jimmy Bones ultimately defeats everyone, including the innocent couple. This is perplexing, because horror movies that show evil victorious almost never make much money. BONES also fails to rebuke the occultism of the young woman’s psychic mother. Finally, BONES contains strong, graphic, violence, brief nudity and plenty of strong, gratuitous foul language

BONES stars rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg as a gambling kingpen in the inner city who uses occult means to come back to life to wreak revenge on the drug dealers who murdered him. Years after his death, the ghost of Jimmy Bones haunts the vestiges of his headquarters in the inner city, aided by a mongrel dog possessed by either Bones or a demonic spirit. The dog kills a couple of young white men trying to buy some drugs.
Another young man returns to the building where his African-American father grew up to turn the building into a nightclub. He befriends a young black woman in the neighborhood who lives with her mother, a psychic who used to be Jimmy’s lover. Secrets are revealed when Bones manages to resurrect his own body and to exact his bloody revenge.
