THE CHRISTMAS SPARK is a romantic drama on Great American family. Adrian decides to sign up for his local fire station’s cadet training program after getting passed over for a promotion at the law firm where he worked for 15 years. Adrian is teased by the younger trainees. Also, his training partner, Charlie, is angry because Charlie’s father died on the job and he doesn’t think Adrian treats firefighting seriously enough. Meanwhile, Adrian grows closer to his niece’s teacher, bit he learns she’s Charlie’s mother!

THE CHRISTMAS SPARK is a charming, uplifting movie, with excellent chemistry between the romantic leads, Mario Lopez and Ali Cobrin. However, Viewers should know, though, that the movie focuses more on Adrian’s personal growth rather than the romance. THE CHRISTMAS SPARK has a strong Christian, moral worldview. People say Merry Christmas, discuss the Nativity Story, and sing a Christmas carol. Also, the male lead learns what it means to help other people, and the movie salutes the public service firefighters provide. THE CHRISTMAS SPARK has one light profanity and some lying, but the lying is resolved by repentance and forgiveness.

THE CHRISTMAS SPARK, a romantic drama on Great American Family, follows Adrian, a lawyer who’s passed over for a promotion. He decides to sign up for his local fire station’s cadet program, where he learns the true value of helping others. When his law firm offers him a big job, Adrian must decide what he wants, and how he wants to help others.

As the movie opens, Adrian is sure he’ll get the big promotion at his fast-paced law firm. He works hard, pretends to know about the sports teams his boss likes, and has been with the firm for 15 years. However, when someone else gets the job, Adrian decides a life change is in order.

He signs up for the cadet program at his firefighter brother’s station, where he faces plenty of teasing from the much-younger cadets. Worse, he also faces anger from his training partner, Charlie. Adrian finds out Charlie’s father was a firefighter who died on the job, and Charlie thinks Adrian’s not taking the job seriously.

Adrian continues training, growing closer to Sarah, his niece’s teacher, and, he later finds out, Charlie’s mother. He also gets closer to Charlie, who reveals Sarah doesn’t know Charlie’s training to be a firefighter and would be furious if she knew. She worries Charlie will die just like his father.

As training draws to a close, Adrian gets a good job offer from his law firm. So, now he must decide if he really wants to go through with becoming a firefighter or return to the life where he spent nearly half his life.

THE CHRISTMAS SPARK is a charming, uplifting holiday movie that explores themes of grief and helping others. Mario Lopez is an excellent lead, with good chemistry with Ali Cobrin. Viewers should note, though, that the movie focuses on Adrian’s personal growth more than the romantic plotline.
