More Detail:

In “Will the Good Cop Bowl 300?” of THE GOOD COP, Tony leads a bowling team close to winning the semi-finals of their regional tournament. However, when a gruesome murder takes place at the bowling alley, TJ must join his father’s team to investigate the crime. The catch? TJ is terrible at bowling. So Tony, unknown to his son, invents a plan to cheat and make his son seem good. However, will TJ’s fake bowling prowess derail his entire career?

If the plot of “Will the Good Cop Bowl 300?” sounds a little ridiculous to you, you’re not alone. This episode stretches credulity, imagining that TJ is willing to give up his long and successful career as a cop just because he’s kind of good at bowling. Setting that aside, it seems that Groban finally warmed up to the comic parts of his character. Or, perhaps, the writers have warmed up to Groban’s unique personality. The episode contains some questionable moral elements, like when Tony chooses cheating and “winning” over justice. Violence and alcohol use make this episode inappropriate for children.
