THE HISTORY BOYS is a Christian-bashing salute to Romantic education philosophies, filled with pro-homosexual propaganda. Like most propaganda, THE HISTORY BOYS sets up easy targets that its clever and superior heroes can easily defeat. In addition to its mindless pro-homosexual, anti-Christian propaganda, THE HISTORY BOYS contains a liberal use of the "f" word, along with some crude sexual dialogue.
(RoRoRo, PCPCPC, HoHoHo, AbAbAb, A, LLL, V, SS, D, M) Very strong Romantic worldview with very strong politically correct, homosexual, anti-Christian content (the movie contains some crude sexual language but no explicit sex scenes), including Christian physical education teacher is shown to be a stupid bigot with an obnoxious and shallow religion that doesn’t appeal to “intelligent” people and homosexual teacher promotes intellectual and moral relativism; 45 mostly strong obscenities (including many “f” words), one strong profanity, three light profanities, and a couple uses of an obscene gesture used in Great Britain; light violence includes an implied traffic accident; implied fornication and students in French class pretend to be visiting a French house of prostitution, but some brief explicit sexual language and overt homosexual content; no nudity; no alcohol use; smoking; and, teacher encourages students to get ahead no matter what it takes, even if it means arguing that Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin were not such bad guys after all, and a strange class discussion about the Holocaust that may be offensive, though not anti-Semitic.
The Tony Award-winning play, THE HISTORY BOYS, is a Christian-bashing salute to Romantic education philosophies, filled with pro-homosexual propaganda. Like the play, the movie version also treats the subject of ephebophilia (the sexual attraction of adult men, including middle-aged, elderly men, for adolescent boys) in an extremely light way, often mining the subject for comedy. The homosexual movement has often treated this form of pedophilia lightly. After all, if you can break one sexual taboo, why not break all the other sexual taboos? Regrettably, homosexuals have heavily infiltrated the show business community with their iconoclastic, politically correct sexual hedonism. That’s why minor propaganda pieces like THE HISTORY BOYS and mediocre movies like BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN garner so much undeserved acclaim. Of course, both THE HISTORY BOYS and BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN bash Christianity, which shows the real target of their demonic, wicked ideology. These movies aren’t just poetic odes to homosexual passion. They are contentious, hateful political movies that mock people who don’t agree with them. If that’s not propaganda (and bad propaganda at that), what is?
Basically, THE HISTORY BOYS is about eight teenage schoolboys in Yorkshire, England who have qualified to apply for Oxford and Cambridge. Hector, their beloved homosexual general ed, French and literature teacher, encourages them to mix in popular culture, especially old show tunes, into his classes. Hector likes to give the boys a ride on his motorcycle so that he can surreptitiously grope them. He does this even though he’s married. The boys are bemused by Hector’s homosexual advances, which they believe are harmless. So, they go along with the scheme. In fact, one boy jokes that he must have given Hector a thrill when he placed his book bag on his lap.
The school’s smarmy, hypocritical headmaster decides that the boys need more “polish” and “edge” if they are going to get into one of the two top colleges in England. He hires an erudite young history professor, Irwin, to take over some of their history sessions from their regular history teacher, Miss Lintott.
One of the boys, Posner, has a crush on Dakin, the most popular boy in the school. Even Irwin, who’s also homosexual, is attracted to Dakin, but he dare not do anything to jeopardize his career.
One day, a crossing guard sees Hector grope one of the boys and informs the headmaster. The headmaster forces Hector to retire after the term. Emotionally devastated, Hector submits, but Dakin has a card to play against the headmaster. Dakin has been having an affair with the school’s pretty young secretary, who informs Dakin that the headmaster likes to grope her in the office.
Eventually, the boys take their college exams and interviews, the movie reveals who passes these tests, and a tragedy strikes. And, since he’s now graduated, Dakin decides to offer himself to Irwin, mostly for a lark because Dakin still believes he’s decidedly heterosexual.
Like BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, THE HISTORY BOYS turns into homosexual propaganda by going out of its way to attack Christianity. In the case of this movie, the anti-Christian attack focuses on the school’s dimwitted physical education teacher, who awkwardly mentions Jesus a couple times in a ham-handed attempt to convert people. Of course, the Christian character is shown to be a stupid bigot. (With so many stupid Christians around, according to the elitist view of the homosexual movement in the media, one has to wonder why the homosexual movement is having such a hard time convincing American voters to accept same-sex marriage. Maybe Christians and conservatives are not the stupid ones after all!)
Like most propaganda, THE HISTORY BOYS sets up easy targets (the hypocritical authority figure, the stupid Christian bigot, the grim-faced crossing guard) that its clever and superior heroes (in this case, erudite homosexuals and well-educated young men) can easily defeat. Once one sees through such ham-handed, convenient storytelling devices, however, the artistic quality of the work is shown to be what it is – shallow.
In addition to its mindless pro-homosexual, anti-Christian propaganda, THE HISTORY BOYS contains a liberal use of the “f” word along with some crude sexual dialogue. The movie avoids showing explicit sexual activity, however. (Thank goodness for small favors!)
Ultimately, THE HISTORY BOYS seems to be promoting a very strong Romantic, politically correct worldview. The Romantic worldview teaches that Man is essentially good and noble, and civilization (by which Rousseau, the “father” of Romanticism, meant Christianity) corrupts man. Man is controlled by his “heart” and emotions, not by his intellect or logical mind.
Thus, in THE HISTORY BOYS, the teachers mold the young men to accept homosexuality and defend the elderly homosexual teacher, as well as reject the crude proselytizing of their Christian phys ed teacher. In that way, they can use the educational system to indoctrinate the youths into left-wing homosexual ideology.
Here, it is interesting to note that the young homosexual teacher, Mr. Irwin, actually teaches the boys that there is no absolute truth, no right and wrong. He also tells the boys that the people at Oxford and Cambridge who will be interviewing them like students who can argue unpopular positions, despite any facts that might get in the way. Thus, one boy gets into one of the top schools by actually arguing that Hitler wasn’t such a bad guy after all. He was just misunderstood! This kind of Romantic, homosexual sophistry runs rampant in popular culture as well as the world’s educational systems, including the education system in the U.S. as well as Great Britain. No wonder the Barna Group recently reported that young adults in America are starting to reject a biblical, Christ-centered worldview. Of course, Irwin’s method of teaching the boys derives from the notion of “critical theory” developed by the Neo-Marxists in the Frankfurt School at the Institute for Social Research in Germany. These Marxists fled the onslaught of Hitler and came to the United States, where they invented left-wing political correctness and identity politics based on race, sex and economic class. The student protests of the 1960s were based on this ideology. Although their Marxist notions of “critical theory” have been greatly expanded, many liberals and moderates, as well as many self-described conservatives, especially neo-conservatives and especially neo-conservatives who endorse a lax policy toward illegal immigrants or who refuse to challenge the homosexual movement, have adopted their Communist methods and ideology.
Needless to say, THE HISTORY BOYS is abhorrent and evil, by any truly traditional or biblical moral standard. It is a trashy, pretentious sodomite picture designed to indoctrinate audiences into left-wing, humanist, homosexual ideology. That apparently is why it won some Tony Awards – because it appeals to the left leaning, Neo-Marxist elitists who have taken over much of show business. Regrettably, these elitists have also taken over much of the education system as well as the field of psychology, which works hand-in-glove with the government and the school system to indoctrinate, and even drug, our nation’s youth. This is classic behavior modification, a technique that was perfected by the Communists in the former Soviet Union and Communist countries in Asia. Of course, anyone who challenges these Neo-Marxist homosexual perverts is demonized and marginalized. This is why these elitists hate organizations like MOVIEGUIDE®, the Fox News Channel and James Dobson’s Focus on the Family, because we alert people to their line of pretentious, politically-correct baloney. By showing the inherently unbiblical, anti-Christian bigotry in their ideology, we can then begin to equip those in the public who might be susceptible to their lies, falsehoods and irrational Christophobia.
