SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE
SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE is an animated comic book adventure where different incarnations of Spider-Man from other dimensions, including two females and a talking pig, team together to stop a ruthless crime boss from destroying reality by using a gigantic machine to bring back his dead wife and son. Playful and lively, SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE is an exciting, funny movie with lots of action, heart, and faith, but there’s plenty of intense action violence, so caution is advised for children.

THE LION KING
A magnificent example of Disney animation, THE LION KING is an heroic tale of good versus evil which embodies many Christian allegorical elements. The sinister usurper Scar plots to kill his brother and nephew so he can become King himself. While there are several minor areas which call for discernment in THE LION KING, the good far outweighs the bad, and the film conveys a clear message of hope, reconciliation and appreciation for the majesty of creation.
INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE
INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE stars Harrison Ford and Sean Connery in a fabulous Indiana Jones adventure where Indy and his estranged father search for the Holy Grail, the chalice Jesus used at the Last Supper. Despite some crudities and scary moments that warrant caution for younger children, INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE is a thoroughly entertaining, uplifting adventure movie that glorifies God, faith, and Jesus Christ while promoting more positive father-son relationships.
THE INCREDIBLES is another incredible animated movie from Pixar and Disney, about two retired superhero parents who must battle a villain targeting their family. CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN (1950)
Showing how to organize a large family (be fruitful and multiply), this real-life story of the Gilbreth family has a wonderful scene where the father and mother ironically skewer a prissy, stuck-up representative from the evil Planned Parenthood. Clifton Webb plays the unforgettable father, and Myrna Loy is the strong, supportive mother.
ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT

FATHER OF THE BRIDE (1991)
Returning from architectural study in Rome, 22-year-old Annie Banks announces her engagement to a youth she met abroad. The news wreaks havoc on soon-to-be FATHER OF THE BRIDE in this updated modernization of Vincente Minnelli's 1950 MGM classic. Refreshingly, FATHER OF THE BRIDE affirms old-fashioned family values, though there is one exclamatory profanity and sexual innuendo. Aside from these flaws, FATHER OF THE BRIDE is a heart-warming father-daughter story that reflects family life in the 1990's.
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON is about the scrawny but brainy son of a Viking chieftain who helps the community end a 300-year feud with fire-breathing dragons. HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON is funny, entertaining, exciting, and heart-warming family fun, with a redemptive message, but some of the action may be too scary for very young children.
