MADE FOR YOU, WITH LOVE

In MADE FOR YOU, WITH LOVE, a slightly cynical male wedding photographer is hired to do a cover story on a local wedding dress store owned by a beautiful, caring woman. MADE FOR YOU, WITH LOVE is a charming, endearing, touching, wholesome story that promotes love, marriage, friendship, and forgiveness, but there are several light profanities.

The beginning introduces viewers to a wedding gown store owner named Amanda Hughes. Amanda is the designer of the dresses and loves her small business despite its financial hardships. Amanda’s best friend, Allie, is about to get married soon, so Amanda’s designing the dress for her. On her down time, Allie also helps with customers at the store.

On the day of a client’s wedding, Amanda meets a charming and sensitive man named Keith. Keith and Amanda instantly connect, and Keith gives Amanda his phone number. On her way out of the venue, Amanda runs into a wedding photographer named James, who is a cynic. He has a hard time believing in true love and happy endings and leaves a poor impression on Amanda. Amanda forgets her dress sketchbook on the table and leaves the venue.

James visits Amanda’s shop to return her sketchbook and takes goofy pictures for social media. The photography company that employs James loves the pictures and offers him to photograph Amanda’s store for a magazine cover. After days and days of James begging, Amanda finally caves and agrees to let James photograph her customers and gowns.

James and Amanda don’t see eye to eye and have very different styles of working. James realizes her job is more difficult and involved than he originally thought. However, James and Amanda eventually work together, and James captures some great images. Amanda and Keith go out on a date, and Amanda reveals that she was left at the altar. While her heart has been broken many times, her life passion is to celebrate the love of her customers by assisting in their wedding gown needs.

One night Allie comes into the wedding shop hysterically crying. She reveals to Amanda that her father is sick and will need an emergency surgery in the next week. Therefore, Allie decides she wants to have a small ceremony the next day so that her father can walk her down the aisle. Amanda and James pull an all-nighter perfecting Allie’s dream dress for her. While working together, James and Amanda become close friends.

James interviews Amanda for the coversheet of the magazine, and the two take turns asking questions about one another. James reveals he’s been divorced, but, despite being heartbroken, he enjoys celebrating weddings through photography.

MADE FOR YOU, WITH LOVE is an extremely endearing, touching, entertaining story. The viewer is engaged the whole time wondering whether Amanda will choose James or Keith. The cast is fantastic, and the wedding gown set has a beautiful aesthetic.

The movie has a strong moral worldview with light redemptive elements. It stresses love, marriage, selflessness, friendship, and forgiveness. For example, Amanda dedicates her life to making people happy and makes her best friend’s wedding dress for free, people fall in love and get engaged and married, and people learn to forgive other people in their pasts. MADE FOR YOU, WITH LOVE has some minor issues, such as several light profanities. However, the main message, that there’s always a second chance for love, stands out. MADE FOR YOU, WITH LOVE is very wholesome, but it would be enjoyed most by older children and adults.
