Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr. received a $150 million contract extension on Tuesday, praising God for the blessing.

“Thank you, Jesus. Jesus, I owe all I am to you. Thank you for blessing me and keeping me and holding me together all these years. Without you, I am nothing. You have truly been gracious and loving to me. I love you, and I will always glorify Your name,” Anderson began a press conference, per Sports Spectrum.

The athlete also referenced Ephesians 3:20, which reads, “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

After the defensive end thanked the Lord, he expressed his gratitude to his parents.

“To my support system, my parents, thank you for putting a football in my hands,” Anderson said. “Who would have thought the constant driving up and down the road, long talks, prayers and love, I keep them closely to my heart. You guys are the best parents in the world. The young man you see here today is because of you. Thank you for the discipline and the structure you instilled in me and reminded me to just be me. I love y’all with everything in me.”

He later expressed his gratitude for his spiritual family.

“Thank you for the prayers and for keeping me grounded in the Word and never letting me forget how powerful God is and that He always has my back and is always standing on the front line with me,” Anderson said.

In October, when the Texans beat the Bills, Anderson talked about his faith in God.

“I just want to start saying God is so good. Very extraordinary,” he said after the game, per Christhlete.

Before the game started, Anderson looked to one of his teammates and said, “God is going to do something extraordinary, man.”

“That is exactly what He did today. I got to give all praise to Him,” Anderson added.

Earlier this year, Anderson used his platform to minister to prisoners.

“God literally takes the least likely and uses him to spread His Word,” he said in a video shared by God Behind Bars. “You guys are such an inspiration to me, because I battle daily. I’m like, ‘God, are you sure?’ But in His Word, God says we are His masterpieces. He said, ‘I have created you in my image.’”

It looks like Anderson has a bright future ahead with the Texans, and he’s sure to keep pointing fans back to God.
