Tim Tebow Celebrates Baptisms Of Human Trafficking Survivors

Former NFL star Tim Tebow recently celebrated the baptisms of three human trafficking survivors.
“The Her Song team arranged a beautiful pond baptism to celebrate these ladies as they publicly declared Jesus as their Lord and Savior,” the Tim Tebow Foundation posted on Instagram. “Everyone gathered to celebrate with a devotional and sweet time of prayer.”
Her Song partnered with the Tim Tebow Foundation in 2020. Their mission is to help “women who are survivors of human trafficking with residential support, programs, and spiritual growth opportunities,” according to their website.
The Instagram post continued with Galatians 2:20 — “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me” — and Tebow asked followers to pray for the survivors “as they continue their healing journeys!”
Tebow has dedicated his life to fighting human trafficking. One of his latest projects is the unKNOWN fundraiser campaign.
“We have to do everything we can to continue identifying and protecting victims, caring for survivors, and working to prevent it from happening in the first place,” the former NFL star explained.
The campaign is named for all “unknown” victims of trafficking.
“There are over 50,000 children’s images that sit in a global database,” Tebow said. “We don’t know who they are, but we do know that God knows.”

“Our heart with unKNOWN is to partner with our amazing heroes in law enforcement and other organizations to help identify and protect a specific group of more than 50,000 children we know have been sexually exploited but whose identities and locations remain unknown,” he explained.
The football player elaborated on the unKNOWN project on his website, writing, “Each of these [law enforcement members and other experts in the field] have played a pivotal role in today’s fast-paced and complex world of child exploitation, where specialized knowledge is paramount to solving intricate challenges in the field. These individuals are highly knowledgeable and experienced, possessing deep expertise and insights that make them invaluable resources to our foundation and so many others around the world.”
“As big and daunting as this evil of trafficking and CSAM is, our God is so much bigger and we can have hope that He is rescuing and redeeming lives all over the world,” he concluded. “Let’s do our part today. Let’s pray and let’s act.”
