Candace Cameron Bure Discovers What GAF Stars Want for Christmas

In a recent Instagram video, Candace Cameron Bure quizzed several Great American Family actors and crew members about what they want for Christmas.

“Hi, I’m Candance Cameron Bure, and I am going to be asking a very important Christmas question,” the actress began.“What would you like for Christmas?”

Lori Loughlin couldn’t answer because Bure enthusiastically said, “I want to answer for you. A puppy. You want a puppy.”

“A puppy and peace. I would definitely like peace this Christmas,” Loughlin said with a smile.

A MERRY CHRISTMAS WISH star Cameron Mathison answered, “It’s either golf or skiing related. I’m gonna say, it’s like a weekend away golfing to a location of my choice.”

Rethinking his answer, he added, “Well, I should be less like selfish and think something like, you know, time with the family and the kids. They can come.”

Garrett Lobaugh, a photographer, said, “I would like Lori Loughlin to be my matchmaker.”

“A Christmas beach trip to Hawaii,” Erin Noel, a fashion stylist, answered.

Filmmaker Gerald Webb said he just wants the “Philadelphia Eagles to win the Super Bowl this year, the Phillies to win the World Series, the Sixers to win the NBA Championship and the Flyers to win the Stanley Cup.”

Danica McKellar, who is getting ready for the premiere of  A ROYAL CHRISTMAS ROMANCE, said she wanted “Love and peace for everyone,” adding, “I have found my faith in part because of you [Bure], and I want everyone else to feel the same joy that I do, that’s really what I want.”

Movieguide® previously reported on Bure’s impact on McKellar’s faith:

“Candace, I don’t want to brush over the huge, huge impact that you’ve had on my life this year,” McKellar started. “I don’t even know how to call that, like, friendship. It’s more than that. Because of you helping me to find my relationship with God and Jesus, it’s been like a revolution in my life. It’s been a revelation in my life.”

She continued, “You gave me this Bible that I read all the time and I love it so much and I go to church now and I just, I talk to Jesus all the time every day. It’s unbelievable. And you were like my guide. You were just an angel in my life and you still are. And I just wanna thank you for that publicly.”

Bure then asked her followers what they wanted for Christmas.

One follower commented, “What I want for Christmas is for more people to know Christ.”

Another fan wrote, “All I want is a healthy baby I’m due in April.”

Movieguide® previously reported on Bure’s love of Christmas content and movies:

While Candace Cameron Bure is known for her work in Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, she is now taking her Christmas career to Bill Abbott’s Great American Family network, working both in front of the cameras and as an executive…

“I think we know the core audience and what they love is exactly how Bill originally built the Hallmark Channel. That was Christmas and those traditional holidays, so that’s what the focus is going to be. You’ve got to start somewhere. You can’t do everything at once.”

“The biggest thing about Christmas movies in general is that people make fun of them — and yet people love them,” she added.

“It’s because they’re predictable,” she said. “You know that someone’s going to fall in love. You know it’s just going to be happy and warm. And people run to that, especially at the holidays.”
