Candace Cameron Bure Wants to ‘Honor God by Being Content in All Aspects of Life’

Candace Cameron Bure is encouraging us to “be content” with the things God has given us.

During an Instagram Q&A, a follower asked Bure what her biggest life struggle is.

“I don’t know if this is the biggest…but contentment,” the actress replied. “Achievement, goals and markers are so important to me. While those aren’t bad things, they can’t be everything.”

She continued, “I’m asking God to help me see and be content with the space, time and value He’s put me in charge of and to steward it well. He trusts me with what He’s given me; no more, no less at this moment in time.”

“My dreams and motivations are big and my heart and mind can get ahead of me,” Bure concluded. “I want to honor God by being content in all aspects of life in every season.”

Bure uses her career as an actress to honor God, specifically through her work with Great American Family. She recently served as an executive producer on JUST IN TIME, an experience she called “a blessing.”

“I have to pinch myself daily when I realize that I’m living my dream of making family and faith centered movies,” she wrote in an Instagram caption.

Bure is also set to star in GAF’s upcoming AINSLEY MCGREGOR MYSTERIES series.

“There’s nothing more exciting for me than being back in the cozy mystery genre. Mysteries are so fun to watch and to try to solve,” the actress said in a statement about the series. “I hope our faithful fans and audiences fall in love with the townspeople of Sweet River, Texas and Ainsley McGregor’s keen eye for solving mysteries. In this next-level mystery series, the family dynamics and developing relationships alone should keep you coming back for more!”

Movieguide® previously reported on Bure’s move from Hallmark to Great American Family:

Great American Family actress Candace Cameron Bure recently spoke on her Instagram Stories about her departure from Hallmark.

“It wasn’t so much about leaving as it was about an opportunity to grow a new network that puts faith and family at the forefront of its content,” she said in response to a fan’s question about why she left. “I’m very proud of the work I did at Hallmark for 15 years and love all my friends there. I’m more than an actor. Growth in my company as well as my achievements in business is extremely important to me.”
