Great American Family stars Jillian Murray and Paul Greene gushed about their love for making inspiring, faith-filled content while on the Movieguide® Faith & Values Gala’s red carpet.

The pair presented the Grace Award for Actor in a Movie and the Grace Award for Actress in a Movie at Movieguide® Gala.

Actors up for the Grace Award are Kelsey Grammer (THE CHRISTMAS RING), Oscar Isaac (KING OF KINGS 2025), Zachary Levi (SARAH’S OIL), Paras Patel (THE CHOSEN: LAST SUPPER — PART TWO: EPISODE 5.3) and Mykelti Williamson (THE LAST RODEO).

Actresses nominated for the award include Naya Desir-Johnson (SARAH’S OIL), Vanessa Kirby (THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS), Rebekah Schafer (LIGHT OF THE WORLD), Jana Kramer (THE CHRISTMAS RING) and Uma Thurman (THE KING OF KINGS 2025).

Murray loved attending the Movieguide® Awards with friends, saying it’s “like a reunion,” and she couldn’t be more grateful to be surrounded by so many likeminded people.

“I can’t tell you how fulfilling that is. I think when you don’t need to edit yourself around people and when you’re yourself and you’re surrounded by your own kind, it really feels like a warm hug, and it doesn’t feel exhausting,” she told Movieguide® while at the event.

She’s honored to work on projects that tell inspiring stories of hope and faith.

“I don’t take a day for granted,” Murray said. “I know there’s a lot of projects that come your way that are not like that, and I’m just grateful, and I pray every single day that I’m going to stay in this world for another 20 years.”

Greene, who will perform a song at the awards show, said, “It’s special to be a part of something that’s making a difference in the world,” referencing his Great American Family movie TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY, which is up for the Best Family Television/Streaming award

He went on to say that telling uplifting stories on the screen is a “privilege” and a “pleasure,” and he’s grateful his work provides viewers an “escape into a world of some hope.”

Alongside Greene, TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY stars Candace Cameron Bure and her daughter Natasha Perry, both of whom are up for the Grace Award for Streaming.

“A woman planning to sell her grandmother’s letterpress shop finds unexpected purpose when she meets a passionate preservationist, leading them both toward a chance at redemption and romance,” a synopsis reads.

“It’s a mom’s dream come true to work with one of your children,” Bure said of working with her daughter. “So Natasha is such a wonderful actress, and it’s just a blessing to me. I love being with her. I love working together. We’re living together while we’re making this movie, so it’s pretty special for me.”

Tune into Great American Family on March 5 to see Greene perform and to find out if TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY takes home any awards.
