John Stamos shared his pride in how the child stars of FULL HOUSE “turned out.”
“Can I say how proud I am of her?” he said while appearing on ACCESS DAILY alongside Jodie Sweetin. “All the kids on our show, you know, turned out so well, and they do such good stuff.”
He continued, “They do such good work. They do a lot of charity work. I’m just proud of how you’ve turned out.”
Sweetin got sober in 2008 and has since become an advocate for sobriety and recovery.

“I speak about my experience growing up in the entertainment business, what my life was like after, some of the struggles and things I went through and where my life is today,” she told PEOPLE in 2020. “It’s a story with a message of second chances and turning things around and being able to overcome some adversity.”
Candace Cameron Bure also starred on FULL HOUSE as a child and teenager. She made a successful transition into acting as an adult and balances her onscreen career with humanitarian work.
“You know, the Bible tells us to help the least of these, to help the widows and the orphans. I mean, that’s a calling for every one of us,” she told Fox News in a 2025 interview. “And so, of course, my faith guides me in my choices that I make.”
Bure continued, “I couldn’t live out my Christian calling without helping those in need. And I mean, I guess that’s the guiding light for me, but truly, when you’re involved in it, you end up becoming the receiver because you really… It just feels so good to give and participate in helping change someone’s life or adding to it, giving them hope, watching their resilience. To let them know that they are loved, and they’re cared for, and they are worthy of being here and being loved by people and especially by God.”
Andrea Barber also helps raise money for a variety of organizations, including the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, in honor of her mother, who passed away from the disease in 2021.
The FULL HOUSE cast have remained close over the years, with Bure telling Fox News, “We’re all close friends. We keep in contact, like, constantly.”
“We’re family through and through,” the actress concluded.
The child stars of FULL HOUSE have made their way through the ups and downs of early fame, using their platforms to do good.
