(BB, Ro, Fe, L, VV, A, M) Strong moral worldview of good triumphant over evil, and SUPERGIRL rules over city (like the Lord rules over earth), mitigated by some Romantic elements of being true to oneself and feminist elements of women seeking equality, as title heroine fights for her own identity apart from world’s expectations of what a woman should be; two obscenities include one “h” word and one inference of the “s” word, plus one irreverent, profane use of God; intense action violence includes heroine being punched, thrown and strangled several times; no sex; no nudity; several references to drinking, as heroine and her boss have drinks at local bar; no smoking or drugs; and, dysfunctional family portrayal as one character reveals she never lived up to her mother’s expectations, and a general theme of revenge and greed as villains try to overtake the world.
