Here’s Angel Studios’ January Lineup

Angel Studios is introducing a whole new slew of content this month.
“We have been hard at work preparing our theatrical and streaming slate for the new year. It’s truly an honor to partner with such outstanding directors, producers, animators and comedians who have inspiring stories and entertainment that amplify light,” said David Fischer, Director of Business Affairs and Acquisitions at Angel Studios. “The Angel Guild is growing at an amazing pace and has approved the following films for distribution on our Angel platforms.”

Now Available – HOMESTEAD – In Theaters
HOMESTEAD is a post-apocalyptic survival drama that focuses on a wealthy family’s estate, which is fully equipped for survival. The only problem is that not everyone who visits the homestead can be helped…or can they?
Now Available – BONHOEFFER – Streaming on Angel
BONHOEFFER is the true story of German pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who participates in a plot to kill Adolf Hitler.
Now Available – BREAKING INTO BEAUTIFUL – Streaming on Angel
BREAKING INTO BEAUTIFUL documents the life of Kim White, a wife and mom better known on Instagram as @KimCanKickIt. One of the first “illness influencers,” she documents her life as she battles a rare cancer.

In SEVEN DAYS IN UTOPIA, a pro golfer recovering from defeat finds himself in Utopia, Texas, when his car breaks down. There, a rancher gives him a broader perspective on life and of himself.

January 23 – HOOVEY (2015) – Streaming on Angel – Rated PG
HOOVEY is the true story of Eric “Hoovey” Elliott, a basketball player who collapses from a life-threatening brain tumor. When it seems like his career is over, he discovers faith can overcome the hardest challenges.
HOOVEY features Disney star Cody Linley and THE EMPORER’S NEW GROOVE star Patrick Warburton. The movie won the title of Best Feature Film at the L.A. Sunscreen Film Festival in 2014.
January 24 – BRAVE THE DARK – Releasing In Theaters Nationwide
BRAVE THE DARK features high school teacher Mr. Deen, who discovers one of his students, Nate, has been thrown into jail. He’s determined to bail him out and help him on the right path, but Deen’s got to decide how far he’ll go to help the struggling teen.

Angel Studios also has a host of future projects its working on: RULE BREAKERS, KING OF KINGS, THE LAST RODEO, FAITH OF ANGELS, STANDING UP, VINDICATION, OFF THE COUCH AND INTO CREATION, THE GARDEN CARTOON, HOMESTEAD FAMILY SURVIVAL, TESTAMENT, TUTTLE TWINS new episodes, DRY BAR COMEDY and SOMEBODY’S GOTTA DO IT WITH MIKE ROWE Season 2.
Of SOMEBODY’S GOTTA DO IT, Fischer said, “From the moment we met Mike, we knew that he was a part of the Angel family. The Angel Guild has overwhelmingly voted for this series, and clearly resonates with Mike’s unique storytelling and sense of humor.”
“The people in the Angel Guild know exactly what they like, and I’m both flattered and grateful to learn that Somebody’s Gotta Do It has been so well received,” said Rowe. “Each episode features Americans who are driven to do what matters most to them. Inventors, mad scientists, do-gooders, dirty jobbers, patriots, and regular men and women whose hobbies got a little out of hand. They’re all here, and I’m really excited to share these stories with such a likeminded audience—along with some new content that’s never been seen before.”
Rowe’s second season will come out in “early 2025.”
