We all love a good throwback pic, and Candace Cameron Bure’s recent prom post has fans buzzing!
“Prom season ALWAYS brings back the best memories,” the actress captioned a series of snaps of her and Scott Weinger, her friend and FULL HOUSE co-star.
The pictures show the pair arm-in-arm at a real-life prom, as well as the two dances their characters, DJ and Steve, attended together on the show.
“Just a question did you go to your real prom or only DJ Tanners? Lol,” one fan commented on the post. Bure replied, “first picture is real life!”
Fans loved the prom pics, with one writing, “So sweet that you actually went to your real prom together.”
“YALL WENT TO PROM TOGETHER?! OMG MY HEART CAN’T TAKE THIS,” another person commented.
Bure and Weinger are longtime friends, and the actress celebrated their bond in a 2017 birthday post.

“Happy birthday to the only man I’ve (tv) dated longer than my husband,” she wrote under a collage of photos of the pair. “@scottweinger, to say how much I love and adore you would be an understatement. You will always be my first sushi date, movie premiere date and prom date x3. “
Bure added, “Here’s to 26 years of friendship and laughter and many many more. You are the best human encyclopedia with your Harvard brain I’ve ever known.”
In addition to attending prom together, Weinger brought Bure as his date to the premiere of ALADDIN. The actor was the voice of the titular character.
Weinger recently reflected on the first time he met his ALADDIN co-star, the late comedian Robin Williams.
“I think it was when I first met him, we were introduced and they said, ‘This is Scott, he’s Aladdin.’ And he shook my hand and he said, ‘I’ll be your genie,’” he told PEOPLE. “Which I thought was very cool.”
Weinger continued, “All I can say is that he was a one of a kind person. He was somebody that I was very fortunate to meet…The only word I can say to really describe it is that I was very privileged to have an opportunity, to be in his orbit for a little while and to be associated with him forever thanks to this movie.”
Bure’s recent throwback post is a sweet reminder of her longtime friendship with Weinger and all the milestones they’ve gone through together.
