Candace Cameron Bure is back on the case in her latest movie, AINSLEY MCGREGOR MYSTERIES: A CASE FOR THE YARN MAKER!

“This ‘finding a dead body’ thing is becoming a habit of yours,” one character joked to Ainsley in a recently-released behind-the-scenes video shared to Instagram.

Ainsley, played by Bure, replied, “Don’t I know it.”

In A CASE FOR THE YARN MAKER, Ainsley gets tangled up in another murder when Ellie Mitchum, a visiting yarn and knitting expert, turns up dead. With plenty of suspects who had something to gain from Ellie’s death, Ainsley has her work cut out for her as she tries to find the killer.

“Viewers loved Candace’s first Ainsley McGregor film, A CASE FOR THE WINEMAKER, and she is ready to dive into even more intrigue and smalltown secrets in A CASE FOR THE YARN MAKER,” Bill Abbott, President and CEO of Great American Media, said in a press release. “In a world of ripped-from-the-headlines, graphic films, THE AINSLEY MCGREGOR MYSTERIES is a collection of stories for mystery lovers who love analyzing every clue and cleverly solving the puzzle.”

In the same release, Bure told fans to “expect the stakes to be higher, romance to bloom and a clever ending you’d never expect.”

Movieguide®’s review of A CASE FOR THE YARN MAKER praised the movie for its “well-crafted mystery,” as well as its “strong moral, pro-family worldview.”

A CASE FOR THE YARN MAKER just hit streaming, but Bure is already hard at work on her next project, HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS WEDDING. Bure and HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS co-star Cameron Mathison are reuniting for the sequel, which sees their characters, Sam and Sophie, get involved with a movie crew making a movie about their love story.

“It is such a joy to reunite with my good friend and co-star, Cameron Mathison, to share the next chapter of Sam and Sophia’s epic love story,” Bure said in a statement about the movie. “Our fans loved witnessing their love blossom in HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS. This time we’re excited to bring our fans ‘into the movie’ and to the biggest moment in Sam and Sophie’s lives.”

Mathison recently posted an Instagram video from set, joking, “Filming Christmas movies in May: because holiday magic runs on its own schedule.”
