Fans Rave About Hallmark’s ‘Countdown to Christmas’ Lineup

Christmas might be months away, but Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas” programming kicks off in just a few weeks.

“This year’s #CountdownToChristmas lineup is giving merry and bright! It all begins Friday, October 17!” Hallmark announced on Instagram.

Fans commented on the post, expressing their excitement for the Christmas lineup.

“I am counting down to the days, so excited for Christmas, it is my favorite holiday always,” one person wrote.

Another said, “I have so many exciting things the next few months, but THIS takes the cake!! I will be SAT AND READY!”

“Cannot wait, and they all look so good. What a season we will have, so much fun, joy, and love!” one person commented.

Each month leading up to Christmas will include different films, some new and some old.

One of Hallmark’s new films, A GRAND OLD OPREY CHRISTMAS, will star Nikke DeLoach and Kristoffer Polaha, alongside Grammy Award-winning artist Brad Paisley.

“The Hallmark Channel to me is a major part of finding the joy and the spirit of the holidays,” Paisley said of the opportunity to be part of the the network’s “Countdown to Christmas.” “We turn it on and leave it on in our house like Christmas tree lights or decorations, it’s a major part of the atmosphere for us. I loved the challenge of creating that same magic with this music by letting it take you to the same place that these movies and this world Hallmark has built. Can’t wait for you to hear what all we’ve done. Also, knowing the Opry is the setting for one of these movies is very inspiring.”

Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas” begins on Oct. 17 with the season premiere of MISTLETOE MURDERS. Christmas fans across the nation can’t wait to get into the holiday spirit.
