Hallmark Media and Netflix just signed an expanded output deal that will offer Netflix subscribers more warm and fuzzy-feeling content.

Last year, the companies inked a deal that brought 10 Hallmark Christmas movies to Netflix. The deal brought more viewers to Netflix, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+.

“Hallmark was pleased with our linear viewership and Hallmark+ engagement and subscriber growth after the Netflix deal,” said Jesse Wallace, senior VP and head of distribution at Hallmark Media. “We’re confident the strategic windowing of our content through this branded licensing agreement will fuel our linear and SVOD businesses.”

The new deal will bring the first two seasons of Hallmark’s THE WAY HOME to U.S. Netflix subscribers next month. Season 3 will come to the platform in February, and season 4 will come in late 2026 after it airs on Hallmark Channel.

Unlike last year’s deal, this year’s will bring Hallmark deals to a global audience.

“The teams are excited to bring Hallmark content to Netflix subscribers around the world,” Wallace said. “Hallmark has long-standing relationships with broadcasters worldwide, and we’re thrilled to partner with Netflix to expand our international reach.”

Several Valentine’s Day-themed movies will hit the platform in January: AN UNEXPECTED VALENTINE, SISTERHOOD, INC., THE ROYAL WE, HATS OFF TO LOVE and LOVE IN THE CLOUDS. And of course, some Christmas movies will also be available from November-January: ALL I NEED FOR CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS UNDER THE LIGHTS and OUR HOLIDAY STORY.

Per Entertainment Now, HAUL OUT THE HOLLY and HAUL OUT THE HOLLY: LIT UP were among the movies that came to Netflix last year and were considered a huge success.

The Christmas stars include Lacey Chabert, Wes Brown, Stephen Tobolowsky, Melissa Peterman, Ellen Travolta, Mallory Jansen,  Dan Jeannotte, Heather Hemmens, Marco Grazzini, Nikki DeLoach and Warren Christie, The Wrap reported.

“We remain committed to our core mission at Hallmark, which is to spread joy and positivity through the world with our critically acclaimed movie and episodic content,” Wallace said. “The global reach of Netflix is unparalleled, and we are excited to expose our content to new and existing Hallmark fans on Netflix. With this branded content licensing agreement, we can serve fans where they are, while also driving fans (new and existing) to our linear channels and/or Hallmark+ for our newest content and the entire Hallmark content library.”

The first products of the deal, THE WAY HOME Seasons 1 and 2, will come to Netflix on Oct. 1.
