What You Need To Know:
NOW YOU SEE ME: NOW YOU DON’T has some great twists, lots of humor and a good cast of veterans and relative newcomers. The jeopardy is also strong, because the heartless diamond heiress has no compunction against killing anyone who gets in her way. However, NOW YOU SEE ME: NOW YOU DON’T has some hokey moments. It also has about 30 obscenities and profanities, some violence, and brief politically correct communist comments favoring “wealth redistribution.” MOVIEGUIDE® advises excessive or extreme caution for the slightly excessive, gratuitous foul language and politically correct references to wealth redistribution.

More Detail:
The movie opens with the three young magicians (Charlie, Bosco and June) posing as the Four Horsemen in a temporary, “pop-up” magic show designed to take down a crypto currency scammer who bilked many people out of their savings. J. Daniel Atlas, the young leader of the Four Horsemen confronts the young magicians to help him take down Veronika Vanderberg, a ruthless diamond heiress who uses her diamond profits to finance a crime syndicate, including a gun-running operation. Atlas received a Tarot card from “The Eye,” the mysterious group of magicians who pick the Horsemen’s next target. It turns out that the three other members of the Horsemen, Merritt, Jack and Henley, have also received Tarot cards.
The opening heist against the diamond heiress is to steal a huge diamond out from under her nose. Of course, there’s more to this than meets the eye.
NOW YOU SEE ME: NOW YOU DON’T is the third in a series of movies about The Four Horsemen. Like the previous two movies, it has some great twists. There’s also lots of humor and a good cast of veterans and relative newcomers. The jeopardy is also strong, because the heartless diamond heiress has no compunction against killing anyone who gets in her way. So, the movie has a fair amount of excitement and suspense along the way.
However, NOW YOU SEE ME: NOW YOU DON’T has some hokey, cheesy moments. It also has about 30 obscenities and profanities, some violence and brief communist comments about wealth redistribution. MOVIEGUIDE® advises excessive for the slightly excessive, gratuitous foul language and brief politically correct content.
