The Hallmark Channel announced last week that the hit show THE WAY HOME will end with the upcoming Season 4.
“The fourth and final season of THE WAY HOME will premiere on Hallmark Channel in spring of 2026. All your favorite cast members will return, including Andie MacDowell, Chyler Leigh, Sadie Laflamme-Snow and Evan Williams, among others, as their story comes to a satisfying close where all your questions will be answered,” Hallmark announced.
Though fans are sad to see the show go, Hallmark execs promise fans won’t be disappointed.
“Fans of THE WAY HOME have enthusiastically watched and rewatched every episode since the first pond jump of season 1 as they’ve tried to piece together the brilliant puzzle Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, and Marly Reed expertly crafted,” said Samantha DiPippo, SVP of programming at Hallmark Media, per PEOPLE.
“We’re grateful to our talented cast led by Andie, Chyler, Evan and Sadie, as well as our amazing writers and crew who have worked so hard on this show,” she added.

DiPippo told PEOPLE that “Season 4 will feature the thrilling twists and turns fans expect and, as the Landry family’s journey comes to a satisfying close, viewers will get the answers they’ve waited for.”
THE WAY HOME, set in the fictional Canadian town of Port Haven, follows three generations of Landry women, Del Landry (Andie MacDowell), Kat Landry (Chyler Leigh) and Alice Landry (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), as they “heal from their family’s past,” Country Living summarized.
The first two seasons of the series began streaming on Netflix on Oct. 1 and immediately launched to the top of the streamer’s charts.
Star Evan Williams celebrated on Instagram, saying THE WAY HOME reached “the Top 10 after only one day!!! Thanks to everyone who loves this show both old and new.”
“So much gratitude to the entire cast and crew who have put their all into this show,” he added.
Showrunner Alexandra Clarke revealed that the last day of filming for Season 3 was emotional.
“Honestly, I don’t think I can even talk about that day without bursting into tears. The first time everyone read the script was the cast read-through,” Clarke told PEOPLE. “We had about 10 boxes of Kleenex amongst us, and I remember seeing Sadie and Jefferson kind of look at each other, and I realized that they knew what we were all in for. And then to be there on the day, by the pond. Our director on this one, Grant Harvey, has seen us through this entire series. He and I really did want to carve out the time for those scenes because we knew it was going to be intense. And these guys came to play.”
We can only imagine how hard it’ll be for the cast, crew and fans to say goodbye at the end of Season 4, which debuts spring 2026.
