If you’re a Lauren Daigle fan, you’re in good company; legendary singer Celine Dion just revealed she’s got the Christian artist on her playlist!
“I’m often asked what I’m listening to, so here are a few songs from my playlist lately. Different moods, different moments…but all ones I love,” Dion captioned an Instagram video of her listening to several different songs — including Daigle’s “You Say.”
Daigle posted a video in response, saying, “Whenever beautifully important things happen to me — in life but especially my career — the last thing I do [the] majority of the time is come to social media, because I feel like they’re just little sacred touches, and I want to treasure them and behold them.”

“But yesterday, I received a text message from my manager that said, ‘You’ve got to see this!’ And it was a video so many of you have commented on and reached out to me about,” she continued. “And I just want to say, Celine Dion, what an honor. What an honor.”
Daigle revealed Dion was one of her inspirations to become a singer, saying, “If only you knew the amount of hours…that your voice has trained me, and how much still to this day it inspires me. And it encourages me to keep working hard. The brilliance of your communication and the way that you deliver a song is unreal, and I am deeply honored that you would include me in your playlist.”
She then shared that she was praying for Dion as Dion continues to deal with the effects of Stiff-Person Syndrome (SPS), which she was diagnosed with in 2022.
“[I] just thinking to myself, ‘God, if you would only just send her my music that there would just be an element of healing for her that she could find in that music and that you would touch her body through everything that she’s going through,’” Daigle shared. “My heart, it just longed to give you a big ole hug and say, ‘You’re going to make it through.’”
Dion has been open about her struggles with SPS, telling TODAY’s Hoda Kotb that the syndrome causes spasms that “affect every aspect of my daily life…sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to.”
“All I know is singing,” she continued. “It’s what I’ve done all my life. And it’s what I love to do the most.”
Like so many others around the world, it looks like Dion finds encouragement and inspiration in Daigle’s music.
