Brittany Lutz, model and wife of TWILIGHT star Kellen Lutz, recently asked her followers how they were doing and their responses reminded her that God is “unmoving” and present during all of our struggles.
“The words I kept seeing over and over were: exhausted, overwhelmed, struggling, stressed, grieving, lonely…We are ALL fighting battles that no one sees and walking through things that are stretching and breaking us,” she said.
She referenced a recent journal entry that she wrote about how things look bad right now, but she still trusts in God.
“I’m grateful I can cling to You in the midst of it all. Sometimes it feels like I’m a kite in the middle of a wild storm. I know you are holding the other end of the line,” she wrote.
She wrote that when’s there’s more slack in the line, her struggle is greater.

“He is unchanging. Unmoving. The same yesterday, today, and forever,” Lutz said.
“’Hebrews 13:8 When we seed Him we WILL find Him.’ Jeremiah 29:13 That’s a promise,’” she continued.
Lutz knows that we don’t need “more” of God, because He has already given Himself to us.
“He is holding nothing back from us,” she explained. “When the storms are raging and we feel like we are far, it’s our job to bring more of ourselves to him. He is right there, always, waiting for us to shorten the line and draw closer to Him.”
In her caption, Lutz asked her followers to comment their prayer requests and said she would pray for them.
In January, Lutz shared that her relationship with Christ has given her immense hope.
She said, “Even with the craziness happening every day all around, I am so full of hope for the future. What you focus on your life will follow and what you look for you will find. So I’m focusing on Jesus and looking for the ways He is moving and every day.”
One of the most painful things the Lutzes have ever experienced was the stillbirth of their daughter. They later had two more children.
In September, Lutz said, “The fact I get to experience slow mornings with my babies is proof of God’s wondrous love because I imagine heaven feels something like this. And if this is a glimpse of heaven you better believe that all the days of my life I’ll be following the One who will be waiting at the door for me. Thank you Jesus.”
Lutz has a wonderful outlook on the circumstances in her life. Her strength and faith amid her trials is truly an inspiration.
