Erin Napier put a special, faith-filled message in one of the houses featured on a recent episode of HOME TOWN.
“TONIGHT on HOME TOWN, you’ll meet my friends Tracy and Dan. We went to high school together and they’re buying an absolute dream boat of a house like they have always wanted, that another friend of ours actually grew up in!” she captioned an Instagram post.
Napier continued, “They want to give their two little girls the cul de sac childhood in a quiet neighborhood, maybe even with a fairy garden in the backyard? The house was incredible, like a perfectly preserved time capsule…with the most insane and unusual foundation problem we’ve ever personally encountered. No one could’ve known! And just in case it doesn’t make the cut, there’s a message hidden inside the fridge box beneath paint in their kitchen. Tracy will understand.”

Napier posted a photo of the special message — “Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declared the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not harm you, for a future and hope.”
Napier and husband Ben have a pretty exciting new project in the works — HOME TOWN: INN THIS TOGETHER premieres this May.
“The Napiers, who have successfully revived many outdated homes and historical locations in their small town will lean in to help their family and best friends Jim and Mallorie Rasberry and Josh Nowell who plan to restore the dilapidated 1930 Kress building in downtown Laurel,” a press release from Warner Bros. Discovery announced. “The enterprising trio believes the 25,000-square-foot space that’s been vacant for 40 years will be the perfect setting for a hotel, food venue and storefront, but they’ll face an array of challenges on the way to make their dream a reality, including: crumbling walls, flooded floors, seven figure budget dilemmas and a devastating fire that severely damages the hotel post renovation.”
The fate of INN THIS TOGETHER was a bit uncertain for a while as, shortly after production ended, the hotel was severely damaged by a fire.
“To watch [our friends] give their all — and I really mean give their all to create this masterpiece — and then to watch it burn together, was devastating,” Napier told USA Today. “They’re still somehow finding a way to keep looking at the next steps and [asking], ‘Where do we go from here?’”
She continued, “I don’t know where they’re going to go, yet. But, man, I’m proud of them. I think — even though it didn’t go the way we all were expecting and hoping and excited about — if you want to see human endurance and the spirit of we can do hard things, it is going to be that hotel series.”
HOME TOWN: INN THIS TOGETHER premieres May 10.
