Active Christians in America number about 43 million people, or 19% of the population, according to a CTI and R.R. Bowker study.
“Active Christians” are those most likely to read the Bible in their spare time, be committed churchgoers, accept leadership positions in the church, and feel obligated to share their faith.
They account for 57% of all Christian retail sales.
