Daytime television will look a little different this fall as long-running shows end and new game shows get ready to premiere.

Two major daytime TV shows, DR. PHIL and RACHAEL RAY, ended this past spring.

“I have been blessed with over 25 wonderful years in daytime television,” Dr. Phil McGraw said in a statement about the show’s end. “With this show, we have helped thousands of guests and millions of viewers through everything from addiction and marriage to mental wellness and raising children. This has been an incredible chapter of my life and career, but while I’m moving on from daytime, there is so much more I wish to do.”

DR. PHIL ended May 25 after 21 years on the air.

Popular TV chef Rachael Ray also decided it was time for her show to end.

“In my more than 20-plus years in television, I have had 17 wonderful seasons working in daytime television with Rachael,” Ray told Deadline. “However I’ve made the decision that it’s time for me to move on to the next exciting chapter in my broadcast career.”

RACHAEL RAY’s last episode aired May 24.

There are plenty of new shows making their way to daytime television.

MATHIS COURT WITH JUDGE MATHIS, JUSTICE FOR THE PEOPLE WITH JUDGE MILIAN, CUTLERS COURT and EQUAL JUSTICE WITH JUDGE EBONI K. WILLIAMS are all new courtroom reality shows being offered by networks this fall.

New game shows will also draw audiences this year.

PERSON, PLACE, OR THING is a new game show hosted by Melissa Peterman, while the popular PEOPLE PUZZLER will be syndicated

Classic game shows like THE PRICE IS RIGHT, JEOPARDY! and WHEEL OF FORTUNE are all part of networks’ fall lineups, but some changes are planned for at least one of the programs.

Longtime WHEEL OF FORTUNE host Pat Sajak announced that this will be his last season of the show.

“It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all,” Sajak said of his exit.

Ryan Seacrest is set to take over for him in Season 42.
