Disney has a new perks program for its Disney+ bundle subscribers.
“Our fans are some of the most passionate in the world, and Perks are our way of thanking them for subscribing to Disney+,” said Samantha Rosenberg, Executive Vice President, Marketing, Disney+. “Whether it’s access to in-demand experiences that only Disney can offer or everyday savings and special discounts from top brands, we’re building two complimentary programs that are all about celebrating our viewers.”
Subscribers can win tickets to the FREAKIER FRIDAY world premiere; get discounts at partners like Adidas, Loungefly and Funko; get a free six-month Dash Pass membership from DoorDash; win a sweepstakes for a cruise on Disney Destiny; get savings at Walt Disney World Resort and Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort; get early access to Dapper Labs’ Disney Pinnacle; and get free trials on apps like Duolingo and in-game offers on some game apps, KTLA-TV reported.
Hulu will have its own array of perks for subscribers. That includes winning tickets to Lollapalooza, JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE and San Diego Comic-Con. Show-related sweepstakes and partner discounts from Microsoft, LG Electronics and others.
Items from shows like ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING and A HANDMAID’S TALE will be available to win.
A pre-existing perk for Disney+ members is half off of a D23 (Disney’s fan club) membership, Backstage Country reported.
There will be new perks released on a regular basis. The perks launched on Monday, June 2.

Disney+ got 1.4 million new subscribers in the first three months of this year and has 126 million subscribers worldwide. Hulu has 54.7 million subscribers, and Netflix has 301.6 million, Engadget reported.
Disney+ is getting a slate of new shows and seasons this month. PUPSTRUCTION Season 2 will launch June 4, and PHINEAS AND FERB Season 5 will get 10 new episodes on June 6. OCEAN WITH DAVID ATTENBOROUGH will launch June 8. SALLY will come out June 17, FROZEN: THE HIT BROADWAY MUSICAL on June 20, and IRONHEART, UNDERDOGS and VIBE CHECK will launch on June 24, KSL reported.
Hulu launched over two dozen new titles on its platform on June 1, including BIG FISH, DADDY DAY CARE and KUNG FU PANDA 3. Other June releases are CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG, GUY’S GROCERY GAMES Seasons 32-33 and NOT HER FIRST RODEO Season 1.
CHRISTMAS WITH THE CAMPBELLS, INDEMNITY, THE AMAZING MAURICE, THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD, THE BURNING SEA, TRANSFUSION, GASOLINE ALLEY, BIG GOLD BRICK, THE LEDGE, TED K, INTRIGO: SAMARIA, WARHUNT, HERE BEFORE and THE DESPERATE HOUR will all be leaving Hulu this month.
