Fans Try to Cancel Christian Actress Letitia Wright Over Anti-Vaccine Video

By Movieguide® Staff

Christian actress and BLACK PANTHER star Letitia Wright came under fire from angry Twitter fans who took offense  to the actress posting a video that questioned the COVID-19 vaccine.

The 27-year-old retweeted the video with only the “praying hands” emoji as a caption.

The On The Table YouTube channel initially posted the video in which the host discussed whether any potential COVID-19 vaccines would be safe or effective.

Fans of Wright were in an uproar over Wright’s use of her personal platform, which they claimed she used to spread misinformation on vaccines.

Since the initial storm, the British actress removed the tweet and gave the following statement: “My intention was not to hurt anyone, my ONLY intention of posting the video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies. Nothing else.”

Wright added: “If you don’t conform to popular opinions. but ask questions and think for yourself….you get cancelled.”

Youtube has since removed the video in question, hosted by senior leader and speaker at Light London Church Tomi Arayomi for “violating YouTube’s terms of service.”
