Flimmakers to Showcase Family Faith Movies

Amateurs and professionals in Hollywood are coming together for family faith friendly films

Pan Pacific Film Festival, or PPFF, is an annual family faith film festival in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. It is a place where artists and filmmakers can benefit from a Hollywood forum to showcase their creative talent and promote positive, family values.

Ken An, Founder of PPFF says, “We started out just wanting a place to screen family faith movies, but now PPFF is a home for all creative, family faith artists, a center for professionals to work on their craft, and an international provider of high quality, family faith friendly content.”

This year’s 5th annual festival will be held at the Santa Anita Westfield mall in Arcadia, CA from October 18th – 21st. Activities consist of film screenings of faith-based films, mini-concerts by artists, workshops led by Hollywood producers, model talent search, a red carpet walked by some of Hollywood’s most influential professionals, and much more. The last night of the event will feature an Award Ceremony which has been referred by some as the “Academy Awards of Christian Films.” The Ceremony honors the best films submitted to the film festival and is a special time to encourage and affirm filmmakers for their creative talents. Winners may receive monetary prizes; stipends for future films; recognition by Hollywood professionals; international distribution agreements with broadcasting channels, DVD production, and more.

PPFF believes film has the power to reach, to move, and to inspire people all around the world. Through positive media, PPFF aims to restore the core values of faith, hope, and love. For more information about PPFF, visit their website at www.ippff.com.

IT’S NOT TOO LATE. If you have your own family faith content, visit their website, www.ippff.com to submit your film. The last deadline is August 31st.

Mark your calendars for October 18th – 21st at the Santa Anita Westfield Mall for an epic 5th annual Pan Pacific Film Festival!
