Great American Family’s New Movie Has a Super Sweet Theme

Great American Family’s delicious new movie, FOR THE LOVE OF CHOCOLATE, comes out the day after Valentine’s Day.
The movie is based on a Karen Kingsbury book about a chocolatier, Aria, who lacks a partner for a major chocolate competition. A single dad, Ryan, jumps in to help her. Together, they work to find the winning ingredient for the competition, falling in love along the way.
The movie stars Jesse Hutch and Rhiannon Fish. Hutch is known for his roles in CEDAR COVE, LET IT SNOW, A CHRISTMAS BLESSING and HOMESTEAD. Fish has starred in A CHRISTMAS CASTLE PROPOSAL, A SPLASH OF LOVE, TEAM BRIDE and POLAR OPPOSITES.
“It was a lot of fun. It was so much fun,” Fish said in a recent interview. “I mean, what’s better than getting to work every day and like our chocolate was our main prop — all the chocolate, and it was delicious! I’ve been saying that if you sit down to watch this movie, make sure you’ve got your snacks ready because the chocolate is so romanticized. It’s gorgeous, and I got to tell you eating it on the day was absolutely delicious!”

“I found so much of the set design in this movie completely immersive in that once we get to the masters of chocolate competition, it felt like we were actually there, and anytime I look, you know, nervous in the scenes, I definitely was,” she explained. “Like, I felt nervous for Aria and for Ryan, and hoping that they win this competition and…the whole thing honestly was an absolute blast.”
FOR THE LOVE OF CHOCOLATE premiers on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. ET on the Great American Family channel. It’s currently available to stream on Pure Flix.
