Hallow teamed up with pop star Gwen Stefani for a special tribute to Queen Esther!

“It’s Day 1 of Queen Esther!” an Instagram post announcing the series reads. “Click the link in our bio to join @gwenstefani as she leads us through this incredible challenge!”

The post gives fans a sneak peek at Stefani’s narration of the story of Queen Esther.

“The story of Esther unfolds during a dark and disorienting chapter in Israel’s history,” she says. “A time when the promises of God seem like distant memories. Long after Moses led the Israelites into the Promised Land and King David established a kingdom, God’s people found themselves in exile. The once mighty Kingdom of Israel fractured and fell, and many of them were forced into exile in Persia.”

Stefani concludes, “It is in this exile, far from home, and with little hope for return, that the story of Esther begins.”

This isn’t the first time Stefani has worked with Hallow. Earlier this year, she took part in the app’s Advent prayer challenge and shared her own personal journey with faith.

“Growing up, faith was a central part of my life,” the singer said. “My siblings and I were baptized, received our first sacraments, and were enrolled in religious education.”

Stefani continued, “Our family went to Sunday mass together, and our mother really led our family in faith. I’m so grateful for the foundation that came from being raised like this.”

This partnership with Hallow isn’t the only exciting project Stefani is working on. In August, it was announced that she and husband Blake Shelton would be producing a reimagined, modern-day version of THE WIZARD OF OZ for Prime Video.

“It’s a creative and modern take on a classic, and being part of something that blends music, emotion, and the character of Dorothy is inspiring to me,” Stefani told Deadline of the project.

Shelton added, “We’re really excited about all the possibilities this show brings, and I’m so grateful that Gina [Matthews, the show’s creator] shared the idea with me and [fellow producer Lee Moran]. I knew right away it was something Gwen would connect with. Her creativity and perspective are such a natural fit for this project.”

“I’ve been in love with ‘The Wizard of Oz’ books since I was a child,” Matthews shared. “The story reminds us of the qualities we need to get through hard times, and Dorothy is a symbol of strength who shows us that with a little kindness — and a lot of grit — we can not only achieve great things but also lift up those around us. I’m excited to bring that message to the world, now more than ever.”

There’s no word yet on when fans can expect this new version of Dorothy’s story, but in the meantime, Stefani fans can tune in to Hallow’s Queen Esther series.
