HOME TOWN Season 8 is on the way!
āHOME TOWN UPDATE šØā HGTVās official Instagram page announced. āSeason 8 is just around the corner!! Tune in to the premiere on December 29 at 8|7c!!!ā
The new season will also include a new opening sequence.Ā
āAny worthwhile journey should be like a great book that you canāt put down,ā Erin Napier says in the clip. āOur homeowners give us one part of the story and the houses give us the other. Thereās so many opportunities [and] so many unloved houses.ā
The premiere episode, titled āWhen Life Gives You Tomatoes,ā sees Erin and husband Ben help Tally and Mike Scully find their dream home.Ā
āTally and Mike Scully have started this cottage industry of growing peppers and tomatoes and making these salsas and hot sauces that people are crazy about,ā Erin explained in a clip from the episode. āThey want to have a farm thatās in the city limits. Theyāre also gonna have a greenhouse wherever they land and they need a kitchen that works for entertaining but is also for making these salsas and hot sauces.ā
Not much is known about the rest of the seasonās episodes, but Erin teased the potential return of a fan-favorite figure ā flooring expert Mike Husers, AKA āMike the Floor Guy.ā

While the Napiers are always hard at work on their restoration projects and HOME TOWN, both Erin and Ben always put their daughters first.Ā
āTheyāre our first priority,ā Erin told PEOPLE. āI mean, we love doing this and itās a privilege, but we donāt ever want our girls to say, āMom and Dad were just gone when we were growing up.āā
