Céline Dion appears poised to return to regular concerts this fall with advertisements for four concerts popping up around Paris.
“I don’t know how to tell you…” Dion wrote in French in an Instagram post along with photos throughout her life of her multiple trips to Paris.
The Instagram post coincided with signs appearing around Paris with the titles of some of Dion’s most popular songs. The singer is expected to perform two concerts in September and two concerts in October at the Paris La Défense Arena, a stadium with a capacity of 40,000 and Europe’s largest outdoor venue.

Dion’s 2022 diagnosis with the rare neurological condition Stiff Person Syndrome forced her to indefinitely postpone her concert tour.
“It feels like if I point my feet, it will stay in [that position],” Dion explained in 2024 of her condition. “Or, if I cook — because I love to cook — my fingers, my hands will get in position. It’s cramping, but it’s like in a position of like, you cannot unlock them… Sometimes, when it’s very severe, it can break some ribs.”
Despite this major setback, Dion has been set on returning to her former life as a superstar performer. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, she took her first step towards this goal as she performed the final act of the game’s opening ceremony.
In the two years since, Dion has clearly continued to work to expand on this success and return to regular performances onstage.
“Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but I remain determined to one day get back onto the stage and to live as normal of a life as possible,” she previously shared. “I am deeply grateful for the love and support from my kids, family, team and all of you!”
Dion has also taken the opportunity to create a documentary which shines a light on just how hard she has worked to overcome the disease. I AM CÉLINE DION released in June of 2024 on Prime Video.
“This last couple of years has been such a challenge for me, the journey from discovering my condition to learning how to live with and manage it, but not to let it define me,” Dion said. “As the road to resuming my performing career continues, I have realized how much I have missed it, of being able to see my fans. During this absence, I decided I wanted to document this part of my life to help others who share this diagnosis.”
It looks like Dion’s dedication has paid off, and fans can’t wait to see her perform again.
